Canvas Float Frames are currently very popular, they are designed to enhance an already stretched canvas. The float frame gives the canvas a “floating” visual and really enhances the canvas and gives it a simple smart finish.

We have on offer a 100% Cotton 12oz double primed canvas or a 50/50   (Polyester/Cotton) 12oz double primed canvas.

There is a variety of stretcher frames to choose from. All made out of NZ Pine. The maximum size for a 12oz stretched primed canvas is 1800w x 2700h. Any frame larger than 1m x 1m squared has either corner bracing or centre bracing to keep the stretcher square and prevent it from bowing.

100% Cotton Double-Primed Artist Canvas is coated with an acrylic base formulation to ensure maximum protection against any traces of harmful impurities that may develop over the years as a result of ageing. To achieve this, a neutralizing agent is included to absorb any traces of acidic compounds. The whiteness of the canvas is enhanced by the use of Titanium Dioxide pigment of the highest purity. The material analysis of this pigment serves as a guarantee that it is free of any by-products that could affect the long-term durability of the cotton base. 188cm wide, weight 480g/sqm.
